Inside the app
- Open Tacca and go to "You".
- Tap "Profile".
- Tap "Delete your account" and confirm.
Deleting your account
It takes one tap inside the app. If you no longer have it installed, confirm the request with a code sent by email.
If you no longer have the app
Enter the address you used to sign up and confirm the code you receive. The request is scheduled automatically and never requires a password.
What happens
Gone
- Your profile: name, colour and mark.
- Your nickname, which becomes free for anyone again.
- Your email address and the account that held it.
- Your devices’ identifiers, and with them notifications.
- Groups where nobody else is left, with all their expenses.
Stays
- Your seat in the groups you shared with other people: a name inside a list of expenses, with no account attached any more.
- Those expenses are theirs too, and shares already split still have to add up: removing a person from a settled account would make it wrong for everyone else.
- The data on a phone where the app is still installed, if you used this page to ask: from inside the app, the phone empties itself.
Inside the app it is immediate. From this page, after the code, you receive confirmation by email and the account is permanently deleted within thirty days.
